Here we are on November 29, 2025, and the discussion about the Meesho IPO is everywhere. They’re talking about a price band of ₹105 to ₹111 a share, with a massive ₹5,421 crore issue size.

If you’re looking for “Meesho IPO date,” “Meesho IPO price,” or even “Meesho IPO GMP,” this guide’s got you covered. We will break down the timeline, valuation, financials, and all that in a straightforward way, whether you’re a newbie retail investor chasing those listing hot companies or a seasoned investor thinking long-term. Let’s dive in.

What Exactly Is Meesho?

Back in 2015, Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev Barnwal started Meesho as a humble WhatsApp reselling business. In addition, it is all about giving homemakers and small-time business owners in smaller towns a shot at the e-commerce dream. Fast forward, and it’s India’s top social commerce app.

Beyond this, it is pulling in over 120 million monthly active users who can’t get enough of budget-friendly fashion, beauty stuff, and home goodies. What sets it apart from the Amazons and Flipkarts? There are no commissions for sellers, plus support in local languages, which makes it feel accommodating for investors outside the big cities.

It’s all social, and you can share a catalogue on WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram. Apart from that, it’s empowered a ton of women in non-metro spots, with about 80% of sellers being ladies from those areas. Big names like SoftBank, Meta, and Tiger Global jumped on board, turning it into a unicorn back in 2021 at $4.9 billion. Now, with the Meesho IPO 2025 on the horizon, they’re eyeing more powerful tech setups and putting their attention into groceries and beyond.

India’s e-commerce marketplace is set to increase to $350 billion by 2026, and Meesho is grabbing 15-20% of the value segment.

What is the Timeline of Meesho?

Meesho self-financed early on with M-Shops for those micro-entrepreneurs, then raised $1.3 billion in funding rounds that had everyone watching.

Quick hits:

  • 2018-2020: Grew organically, no big profits yet, just smart plays on community selling.
  • 2021: That $300 million SoftBank infusion at $4.9B unicorn sprinkled everywhere.
  • 2023: Went all-in on Android, smashed 100 million downloads.
  • 2024: Dropped the DRHP to SEBI, basically raising the IPO flag while chasing profits.

Come mid-2025, they’re flaunting positive operating cash flow at ₹539 crore and free cash at ₹591 crore.

This isn’t just about raising money; it’s Meesho’s play for India’s half-billion internet newbies in the hinterlands.

What Are Analysts Predicting About Meesho’s Listing Performance?

A thorough Meesho IPO examination demands a candid review of the finances. For FY25, revenue has increased to ₹8,734 crore, a 33% rise that was stimulated by orders expanding 25% to 1.2 billion. And if we talk about GMV, it has increased 40% to ₹1.2 lakh crore. As a result, it shows they’re digging deeper into everyday shoppers.

On the other hand, there are some losses as well. Down to ₹1,200 crore from ₹2,500 crore the year before. H1 FY26 brought in ₹5,578 crore ($624 million), 29% more than last year’s ₹4,311 crore. EBITDA is edging toward black at -5% from -15%.

Here’s a quick snapshot in numbers:

Key MetricFY24FY25H1 FY26
Revenue (₹ Cr)6,5648,7345,578
Net Loss (₹ Cr)2,5001,200450
GMV (₹ Lakh Cr)8512065
Active Users (Mn)100115120

Investors say Meesho’s 20-25% take rate on orders is a bit shy of Nykaa’s 30%, but pulling in customers for just ₹50 each (while the rest of the field spends ₹200) is a smart, hard-to-copy move.

Delving Into Meesho IPO: Size, Setup, and That Price Band

The Meesho IPO 2025 shapes up as a book-built deal worth ₹5,421.20 crore altogether. Moreover, it is mixing fresh shares with a bit of selling off from the old guard. Further, investors can easily do the portfolio management. Let us break it down.

  • Fresh Issue: ₹3,000 crore for tech tweaks, cloud boosts, and recruiting top talent.
  • Offer for Sale (OFS): ₹2,421.20 crore, with SoftBank and crew selling off about 10%.

Upper band at ₹111 per share, the post-money valuation is around ₹50,100 crore ($5.6 billion). Shares come with a ₹1 face value. Lots run 135 shares each, so for retail types, the entry point’s at least ₹14,985.

The splits go like this:

  • QIB: 50%
  • NII: 15%
  • Retail: 35%
  • Anchor Investors: Up to 30% grabbed in the pre-open scramble.

It all balances out growth needs with some easy outs for the early backers. Zomato’s massive ₹9,375 crore run in 2021 tracks with how things feel in the markets right now.

What Is The Meesho IPO Calendar?

IPOs are all about that sweet spot in timing. As of November 29, 2025, we’ve prepared the calendar. Let’s elaborate on it.

  • Opens on December 3, 2025
  • Closes at December 5, 2025
  • Allotment Wrap will be held on December 8, 2025
  • Refunds Hit will on December 9, 2025
  • Demat Credit on December 9, 2025
  • Listing Day (Tentative) will be December 10, 2025, on BSE and NSE.

Dive in using ASBA through spots like Zerodha, Groww, or your bank’s setup. That retail proportion keeps things level for smaller players, even if the 5-10x oversubscription means a fair bit of it comes down to luck on the allotments.

What to Know About Valuation Perspectives and GMP Trends?

Targets stay at $5.6-6 billion, a moderation from 2022’s $10 billion maximum due to broader economic pressures. The ₹111 per share level equates to 5.7 times FY25 revenues. However, it is measured multiple times relative to Zomato’s 8 times, yet elevated for entities still in the red.

The grey market premium remains at ₹28-36 (25-32% above ₹111) as of this date. Moreover, it is a slight retreat from the ₹37 noted earlier in the week, yet indicative of sustained enthusiasm. Discussions on X forecast “30%+ gains” in accordance with the Aequs IPO, buoyed by the Nifty’s ascent beyond 26,000.

Insights from outlets like Equitymaster urge restraint: “While GMP captures the attention, the, fundamentals merit closer investigation.” From a sustained viewpoint, the 40% year-over-year GMV expansion lends credence to the pricing.

How do Prospects and Risks Interact to Shape the Overall Trajectory?

Let’s check out the prospects and perils that interact to shape the overall trajectory.

  • Promising Angles:
    • Expansion to 200 million users through AI-guided curation.
    • Forays into electronics and perishables, potentially elevating revenues by 50%.
    • Strategic acquisitions in logistics following the listing.
  • Potential Problems:
    • Lingering deficits should advertising result in falling short.
    • Heightened regulatory focus on data handling.
    • Broader e-commerce deceleration tied to inflationary strains.

In the midst of global trade uncertainties under a Trump resurgence, Meesho’s localized strategy offers insulation.

Conclusion

Beyond just hitting the markets, the Meesho IPO feels like a snapshot of how social commerce is shaking things up in India. However, it blends clever tech with growth that actually reaches people. At $5.6 billion valued and ₹5,421 crore raised, it allows seamless cash flow and fresh pushes forward.

Bidding opens December 3, so digging deep and bouncing ideas off advisors is key. As founder Vidit Aatrey once said, “This builds toward the aspirations of Bharat’s billions.” It’s up to each reader now to keep tabs on “Meesho IPO subscription status” as it all unfolds.
